THIS IS JUST REPORTING MY PERSONAL PRACTICE
• I practice aroma therapy with the VA in Madison with the attempt to ease my tremors.
• Have been using “drops” on E.O. (that’s in a 10ml bottle) in my diffuser.
• Since 4/5/21 I have practice 86 times at an average of 83 min for each practice
I have used a few different oils. Thes were:
1. Anxiety
2. Muscle relaxer
3. Lemon
4. Rosemary
5. Lavender
6. Ashwagandha (recommended by VA)
7. frankincense
8. sweet orange
9. tea tree
I’m usually journaling while the diffuser is running.
If I was going to give it a smiley face ratting, right now I would give it a 😉 😊😊

Notes from the VA
Ashwagandha essential oil:
Do not use essential oils orally; they are for external use only.
Author is not familiar with data for ashwagandha essential oil or the product
itself.
Most common use for essential oils is for aromatherapy (via a diffuser) and
added to carrier oils for massage.
There are no “regulated” guidelines for aromatherapy.
However, most common practices for essential oils are as follows:
1. How much essential oil to use:
A) Topically – use a 1% solution or less.
This means 1 drop of essential oil to 1 tsp (5ml) carrier oil (olive oil,
sunflower oil, ect).
If you are going to make larger volumes – adjust based on above ratio.
Example: 6 drops essential oil added to 30ml carrier oil
Test product on skin before using on a larger area
good test spots are the Wrist, Back of the knee, Small area on stomach
Watch for irritation: Redness, Bumps, Itching
Do not apply to broke skin
Wash off before going into sun
B) Compress for small area of the body: Use 3-4 drops of essential oil to a
shallow mixing bowl. Soak the washcloth and wring out. Apply to body
Leave on until the washcloth is body temperature. May repeat x 3.
C) Diffuser: follow the diffuser recommendations
D) Bath: Use 4-6 drops with 1 tablespoon carrier oil.
E) Do not take internally
